18 feb - My trio Monk for President just finished recording another cd, this time with vocalist Jessica Medina. We'll be playing with her on and off for the next couple of months.

11 jan - My trio Monk for President just finished recording a cd with vocalist Priscilla Owens. Check back for news of its release!

4 jan - New Year's in Cork, Ireland with The Prodigals was a hit. Now it's time to finish that cd with Priscilla. We were supposed to be done months ago!

5 sep - Later this month my trio Monk for President will be going into the studio to record a new cd with our friend Priscilla Owens, a top notch vocalist who has done countless gigs with us.

15 aug - Playing the festival circuit with the Prodigals this summer is a load of fun, as usual. I'm looking forward to playing in Napa, CA next month.

6 jun - I'll be playing with friends Priscilla Owens and Conor Lyons here and there for next few months. Keep and eye on the schedule for details, though the first date is tonight at Manahatta in NYC.

12 may - It's time for the CUNY Jazz Festival again. Monk for President will be the rhythm section for the Hunter College Jazz Vocal Ensemble.

14 mar - The Prodigals' sixth cd is being released today. It's called Momentum and features yours truly on the bass guitar and the double bass. Take a look at the discography page for more info.
